What should my nutrients be

I am quiet confused as i have read everywhere complete opposite opinions what ones nutrients and calories should be set at to loose weight . What should my settings be .im 5'6 183 lbs .

maintenance has you at 1907, if you want to lose weight then you adjust down - MFP would probably give you between 14-15000 -
Same height and similar starting weights-just enter your info into MFP, set your goal for 1lb a week, and then stick within the calorie parameters MFP gives you
It's also very helpful to use a food scale as much as possible to measure out portion sizes, this will make your logging more accurate.
