Hello. I'm Max from Chicago, and am new here and looking for motivation. I'm 53 and weigh 205. My goal is to get to 190 by Memorial Day. Looking for friends so that we can help each other on our respective journeys. Thanks!

Hi, new to this. Looking to say goodbye to 15-20lbs, having lost 45 already. Struggling a bit with motivation and have hurt my back, which has disrupted my usual activity levels. So, are there "local" groups? or is this all virtual?

    :-)

All virtual. Folks sometimes post their locale and try to find others in their area.

I’m 44...back to where I started two years ago, and kinda mad at myself. A full time job after 17 years, and I went off the rails. I know what to do this time, and support is the only way to do it imo. Just trying to find balance, and stay positive 😄

Middle aged? I'm 47. That's quite young I think. Does that mean i'll be dead in 47 years?

Lol At any rate I'm on this journey for life. An intermittent faster here. I do the Lean Gains method. And steadily losing weight. I'm happy.

I'm 49, and realizing I don't recover from exercise as quickly as I used to, nor is it as easy to maintain a healthy weight without being mindful of portion size, etc. . .
