Hi everyone, I'm new here and I'm hoping to makes some friends for support and encouragement. I'm a compulsive dieter, who fails all the time. Need to be consistent, and make changes for health reasons. I have high blood pressure! I'm hoping it will go down if I make healthier decisions about the food i eat. Please help me

I started counting calories on here in July. I weighed 193. Today I way 151. It works if you do it. I just don't go over the calories it says 99.99% of the time. I look at it like a budget that I can't exceed. I think you just should go for it. I too started this for health reasons. I really think the key is in sticking to the calories and logging every bite of food you eat, even every stick of gum and small piece of candy and the milk I put in my coffee. I bought a food scale and measure and weigh everything.

Always be kind to yourself, we all slip up, just start again everyday. This is a powerful tool if you use it. I use the concept of if it fits in your macros. That way no food is off limits. You budget your food like you budget your money. Good luck.

Don't look at your healthy fitness journey as a diet but rather as a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. Simply eat cleaner (no processed foods), drink plenty of water, and exercise. Also, drinking hot water with a fresh squeezed lemon and green tea are miracle elixirs!

    YOU CAN DO IT! :)
