Trying to Win This Battle

Hey Everyone!
I have struggled with my weight, I am an avid binge eater, I have lost 75 pounds 6 years ago but I ended up gaining it back plus some. I currently weigh 271 and my goal is to be 130 by December of next year. I'm 5'10. Any motivational support would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I don't do motivation (and I don't think that is very useful), but I do rational. If you think about your life as a battle/struggle, it will be hard. Don't focus on your weight, but on your habits and attitudes towards food and eating. If you eat appropriately, your weight will reflect that. You have the power to eat the right amounts of food, if you decide to do so.1

I'm also trying to cut down from a similar weight. What has helped me is to understand just how much more is gained by losing the weight than by stuffing my face. The idea of being more confident, energetic, and happy is what keeps me going, but ultimately you'll have to ask yourself what it is that you want.0
