I'm scheduled to have one next Monday (12/12). I'd love to hear from those of you who have had it done and hear what your recovery time was like. I have a fairly high threshold for pain and don't really like to lay around in bed, so my doctor said I should get up and walk the next day. And walk as much as I could tolerate it.
Btw, I delayed this forever because I thought it would be hard to get insurance to cover it. They approved it first try! The staff at the surgeon's office said the way they usually get things approved first time is to call the insurance office EVERY DAY until they give approval. So, that's what they did. lol
