Best way to keep track of weekly totals

I have seen a lot of people mention watching their weekly totals in addition to their daily totals. I don't see where MFP does this. Do people just write it down daily?

Are you using the app? There's a nutrition tab at the bottom of the diary page. Click it and weekly totals are in there. You can change the day to start your week on in settings (so you can have a rolling week or run Monday to Sunday etc).1
