Will protein shakes make me bulky?

Nope. You shouldn't be afraid to lift heavy either while we're on the topic. Bulkiness is largely genetic and women mostly lack the appropriate amounts of testoterone to get bulky. The super bulky women you see have spent year of very detailed diet and exercise to get there or are possibly abusing steriods. I know lots of women who are competitive lifters and not a single one is bulky.0
