Samsung gearfit 2 v garmin HR +

I want to ferry my husband and wearable for Christmas. Which one of these are tthe most accurate in terms of HR and miles.

    Which Garmin? The Vivosmart HR+ is not very accurate, and has software issues The Vivoactive HR is much better. The Samsung is not waterproof, if that matters.

    I actually own the Vivosmart HR (no +) and like it for the most part just not the little bumpy thing on the bottom.

    Is the VivoSmart HR more Accurate than the Gearfit2.

    Is the Gearfit2 at least splash proof. (ie you can keep it on while you wash your hands)
