Generally, it's a difference in the amount of water your body is holding onto that makes your weight bounce up and down like this. Hormones (especially around that time of the month), how much salt or sodium you ate, increased exercise, differing amounts of carbs, and about a dozen other things make your weight change from day-to-day. It can be a real mind-bender sometimes, but it's natural and not usually something to worry about.

Because you can easily go up 2-3 lbs of water weight just depending on your cycle, your sodium intake, new exercise routine, etc. Weight loss is not linear and it's not going to be a straight line downward. It will jump up and down but overall will have a downward path. To gain 1 lbs of true weight gain, ou would need to eat 3500 calories above your maintenance. If you did not do that, then you know that it is just water weight and will drop off soon.

Don't just "eat healthy"... count your calories, weigh your food, stay in a deficit, have patience. :)

Stick with that and the weight will come off; although not usually, as explained in the helpful post Dianne pointed out, in a nice regular fashion. My weight can fluctuate by 0.5 - 2lbs per day, and I've learned to see this as normal for all the reasons explained by the other posters. I look at the overall trend, not the day to day (or even week to week) bouncing around.

Look at it this way - you've lost 4lbs in two weeks. That's fabulous!
