What's the deal with almonds. You hear so
Many positives about them and they are packed with fiber and protein. But there is 38% of your daily fat intake in a serving. I just don't understand it. Thanks for any help

All nuts are high in fat. If you don't have a reason to watch your fat intake and they fit into your calories, go ahead and eat them.

All true. Personally, I love them and eat them almost every day. My eating style tends to be low fat, so I need high fat snacks to meet my fat macro. Someone with more fat in their diet might have a harder time making them fit. Any food can be good or bad depending on context. But very very caloric, and so so easy to overeat. I weigh them almost every time.

Nuts are high in fat, yes, but fat doesn't mean bad. They're a bit of a calorie punch, but they have a good nutritional profile. If they fit your day and your macros, have at it!

I love fat. Fat is the best and it helps me feel content on a deficit. A handful of almonds isn't going to give me heart blockages, so I don't worry about it.

I love almonds but I find them easy to overeat so I buy the one serving portions or portion them out to 28g servings when I buy a bigger pack.

If you like almonds and are not allergic, go ahead. Just watch your portions.

Portion control is a killer because they're so easy to eat. I buy in bulk at Costco and portion into individual servings.
