Have any non diabetics or even diabetics ever gotten too excited to gain weight and shot your sugar up way too high? I don't think I ate too much sugar? I think I ate too big of a proportion but feel that big proportions are necessary for weight gain. Is there somethin I can add to my diet to maybe prevent sugar spikes in the future? I had ate a really. If salad with steak and raw veggies and lettuce and a ton of thousand island and cheese on top. Thanks!

You can utilize more fat sources of calories. Fat won't have an effect on BG. Also, increase fiber with meals will at least slow the absorption of glucose.1
