How to Change Message Boards Settings for Folded (or Nested) Quotes (or Replies)

I thought I would share a hidden link I discovered a while ago that allows one to change the display of folded quotes.

It seems the settings are global, with the options of "Don't Fold Quotes" to a choice of 1 to 5 levels deep.

You can resume following Message Boards you have hidden. On the web/desktop version on the Community > Message Boards page, hover over the name of the message board to reveal the tool icon, then click "Follow."

@justgirl81, if you haven't noticed it, no need to worry about it.

"Quote folding" happens when a person replies and includes a quote of someone else's post. If that other person's post quotes others, the "quote folding" setting governs how many of those levels of quotes will show when you look at that post. The default is that only the most recent quoted post shows. A person can always see the earlier (hidden) quotes by clicking on "show previous quotes" in the post being viewed. That will expand (show) all the levels.
