Any fellow bartenders?

Hey all! I'm Angel. I'm currently on my weightloss journey due to having hypothyroidism. I just recently started bartending and so far...I've lost 3.8 pounds in two days. So my question for my fellow bartenders or waitresses...do you log your work shift as exercise or did you change your activity level?
I do both.
I put my level at active. And I also log half my shift since there are times I closing tabs and taking orders, which is me standing still.
However, most of my night is spend running back and forth. Clearing tables, stacking beer, hauling kegs...etc. which to me...is considered a workout. So for instance, last night, I worked 8 hours. I logged only 4 to account for the times I was standing still (which definitely is only more like 30 minutes total and not 4 hours).
What's your take on it?

If you are using this site to log, pick one or the other. Either "Active" or log your "exercise." It's not intended that you do both - as much as we would all like to do that.

With that said, depending on how much weight you have to lose, you might get away with doing it your way if you have a lot of weight to lose but at some point it's going to stop working. Just keep good records so you know when to adjust.
