    Hey There

Things seem about the same to me other than 2 things. First off, I'm not as resilient as I used to be. If I slip on my diet now, my body is more than happy to pack on the fat faster than before. I've also needed to tone down the workouts just a tad to give my body more time to recover. Secondly, I seem to be more injury prone, particularly in the joints. It could have something to do with my poor diet this year, but it's been the worst year for injuries for me in particular.

That said, when I treat my body right, it is happy to treat me right. So keep on trucking. Lift heavy things, reduce stress, get sleep, and eat real food. Everything will be awesome!

40 here, too! Just ten years ago, I could still out-train a mediocre diet but no more! Due to a rough pregnancy 8 years ago, I lost my mojo, and I'm only beginning to find it again now after gaining 80 lbs. Ugh. It's way easier to put on weight now and harder to take it off. I wish I had tackled things right away after my youngest was born. But I'm not throwing in the towel!
