So MFP has me at 2610 calories a day losing 1.5 pounds a week 50% carbs 30% fat 20% protein and was wondering if I should leave it that or maybe adjust it what do you guys advise?

Macro settings are, for the most part, personal preference. Get your calories and logging down first, then play around with the percentages to see what works best for you.

Your macro choice is more than just a matter of personal preference.

It can made a HUGE difference in determining what you eat and how you go about achieving your goals. All "diets" (commercial or individual) are based on certain assumptions which establish the macro percentages used be it low/no carb, low carb/high fat, veggie/vegan, high protein/high carb or whatever.

The macros you choose are determined by your goals. So, what you need to do FIRST is to determine what your goals are and then choose or design a dietary AND exercise program that will achieve that.
