I'll start. I recently saw Don't Breathe, Lights Out, and the Conjuring 2.
My favorite ones are Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Re-animator, The Fly, Cabin Fever, Hostel, Evil Dead, Let Me In

Alien
Jaws (it's a horror movie; really, it is.)
Ernest Goes to Camp1 -
Original Halloween 1 &2, Psycho, 1920s Dracula (Spanish version preferred). I obviously like classics, but The Strangers was a really good "recent" flick.0

This movie made my skin crawl ... I'd decided to watch it alone, with surround sound on and all the lights off ... Dumb idea. Had to pause it, so that my sister accompany me whilst watching it. Didn't even mind the light from her laptop and her contant tick tick tick on the keys.
Solution seemed so simple, now wasn't it? Slept that night with all the lights on.1 -
Oldie horror : Faces of death, Omen, Stigmata, The Rite, I spit on your grave, the Exorcist, the Ring.
New: The Conjuring 2, The Forest, Hush and strangely enough Friend request was eerily discomforting.
ETA: Favourite? Depends. Watch a lot of Japanese and Korean films too so ...0 -
I'm a Scary Movie junkie but have to say that The Strangers was quite disturbing and made me check my door and window locks several times while home alone ever since.1

My favorite is an old black and white called; "THEM"2

Alien, psycho, halloweens 1& 2 are awesome (but I do like the rib zombie Halloween as well )
Have never seen the forest or spit on your grave either, will def check those out. I forgot about It follows, I thought that was pretty good for a low budget flick and very original !!1 -

A sequel or reboot to They Live would be interesting, they could def update the CGI and keep the same story.
I actually thought Conjuring 2 was better than 1.
Lights Out was surprisingly suspenseful and well done. Check it out0 -
