Finally broke the plateau!

I've been hovering around 231 for the past several months. I maintained my calories but exercising took a hit because of horrible back pain. I'm finally doing better and have been working out again for the past month. Well, today I weighed in at 226, and that was with a sweatshirt, tshirt, jeans and snow boots on!!!

Great job!! This is exactly where I've been for the past 3 months 228-230 after being sick for 2 of them. What's your goal weight? Maybe we can try to help encourage one another??

Sounds like a great idea! My goal weight is around 160. I started out at 265ish (I'm guessing) so I'm a little less than halfway there.

    Regarding Horrible Back Pain...

I solved that problem by doing abdominal work. Your abdominal muscles have to help support your body - or your back get's strained from doing all the work... Used to stop me every time - but, I have been exercising all year, with no back pain.

I did lots of reps at not too heavy a weight on the abdominal machine at my gym - it kept my back purring along.

Good luck! And gratz on breaking the Plateau.
