Time to change my MFP calorie goal?

I joined MFP in determination to lose the "freshman 15" that I got my first semester of college, as well as adopt a healthy eating lifestyle!

I am 19 years old and first started using MFP in March. I am 5'7 and weighed 145 pounds. Now, I weigh 126 and am very happy about that.

My calorie goal has been set for 1,250 a day and it's been this way since I've started (give or take that I go over sometimes).

Should I change my MFP goal so that my daily calorie intake is more than 1,200? I'm not trying to lose more weight, but I surely do not want to gain weight either! I guess I am scared I will gain all of that weight back if I add more calories.

You lost weight because you were eating in a deficit. You won't really gain weight if you up your calories because those added calories will bring you closer to maintenance.

Time to start working on eating closer to maintenance. If you continue to eat around 1250, you will continue to lose weight. You need to increase if you want to maintain.
