Okay I've been going to the gym late as possible to avoid crowds and well basic social interaction but of course tonight there were 2 younger 20's girls there. They had quite a laugh at my expense, giggling and whispering to each other.... I only made about 20 min at a strong walking pace on the elliptical tonight. Of course I was huffing puffing and sweaty. The big old fat chick ya know.

On the way out I passed one of them complaining how hard it was and how tired she was. So I asked her, "I'm 14 weeks pregnant, have a respiratory infection, am carrying 50% more body fluid than normal and have been chasing a toddler since 6am.... What's your excuse?"

*Gets down off of soap box*

    Helloooo.
So this is what you can do, if they ace you out of a parking spot at the gym....... This will cheer you up....
    Take note:

This scene cracks the *kitten* outta me!!!! :D
But seriously, maybe they didn't really give a rats *kitten* what you were doing at the gym. Just ignore them next time. Don't let them bother you again. ;)

I was on a stationary bike once in front of the treadmills. A couple old men behind me that don't know how to whisper laughing at my fat *kitten* on a bike. Didn't care. They'll be dead soon.

This is the kind of crap that makes me never want to work out in a gym. Or anywhere. Ever.

It only happened once. I haven't even seen them since. Maybe they croaked.

First of all, perhaps you are just a bit self conscious? Two 20 year old girls aren't probably paying much attention to you, especially if there is any man meat at all. Most likely they are concerned with themselves as their world revolves around them at that age. But if by a slim chance they were laughing at you.....who cares? Look at them and roll your eyes if it bothers you and ignore them. It would probably be better to tell one of them as you pass them next time....."You know, those pants make your butt look big". Thats the kind of thing that is going to make a difference to a 20 year old girl. They don't care if you are pregnant and tired and chasing toddlers. But if they might look fat.......Oh boy, look out.

    100% this.

I do think most of the time this is in people's heads. If they were whispering and giggling it probably wasn't about you, that's just how girls that age behave. They probably didn't even notice you.
