I am assuming that by shredded you mean build muscle. Aside from newbie gains, you will not be gaining muscle while in calorie deficit.
There are so many definitions/idea regarding "clean eating". You do not have to "eat clean" to lose weight, you have to be in a calorie deficit. (Not sure if weight loss is a goal, but since you are asking about being in a deficit, Im assuming again).
To me it sounds like you want to recomp. Im not very knowledgeable in that area, but I am sure those who are knowledgeable will stop by.

Eat less. Keep working out and don't worry about losing little bit of muscles. Focus on your fat. Once you lose more body fat you will get muscles back quickly. Besides you will get more toned and defined showing more sculpture. You are not going to lose much muscles in your age. You are in your prime. Your growth hormones are very active so getting shredded will be no problem for if you even 50 percent committed. God s speed.1

if you think he's getting to 8% BF on half commitment you're crazy. We are talking professional and stage prep ranges1

What do you mean by "get shredded"?
If you want your muscles to show, then eating at a calorie deficit will certainly help you lose fat. Log and weigh your food, and record it accurately in MFP, and stay under your calorie limit. Don't try to lose weight too fast, or you'll crash and burn.
If you want big muscles, that's a different matter.0 -

That's closing in on comp level is this a short term goal or do you imagine you will stay at that level because it would take major commitmentnosebag1212 wrote: »Yeah, that's pretty much it, lift weight eat at a deficit with enough protein.
This is pretty much your answer2 -

Agreed. You don't get to single-digit BF% by half-arsing it. Most of the guys who've done it say it takes near obsessive-compulsive attention to your diet and training, and maintaining it for any period of time is very difficult and more trouble than it's worth.
To get to those levels, OP would probably be best off to continue training and cutting until he reaches around 10%, then use a PSMF protocol such as Lyle McDonald's RFL or UD2.0. Neither of which are pleasant or enjoyable according to many of the people who have done it, but they're effective.1 -
Honestly, go to bodybuilding.com, I don't think this is the community for what you are aiming to achieve. It's an amazing site (don't be put off by the name) with serious science behind every aspect of nutrition, gaining muscle, losing fat and everything in between. They have trainers dedicated to shredding programs. Enjoy and good luck0

LOL ..You have to know your stuff to get benefit from a broscience site like bb.com. There's some great articles and good threads but there's also a load of woo up in there and a huge amount of trolls who I would warrant have never set foot in a gym1 -
The trick to get lean is............................
a calorie deficit.
There are no magic tricks, no shortcuts and no exercises to do. Just consistency and time.
You have around 68kg of LBM so would need to weigh around 75kg to be 10% (although everyone is fatter than they would like to think).1
