Weight fluctuation

I tend to fluctuate weight every week, either I'm down 5 lbs. or back up 5 lbs or more. This is very frustrating to me because I have been doing way better than in the past (except the occasional drinks on the weekend) but when I do not see the results I have very little motivation and it just makes me want to eat more and give up. Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

Stop panicking about the scales. Unless you are eating 3500kcals 5x a week, every other week - then those 5lbs are only fluctuations as you mentioned - and are nothing to worry about. Measure yourself, see how you are doing with this.

You just need to look at it as a new challenge to get away from these fluctuations - e.g. work out harder, change your diet up a little, drink more water.

If you lose motivation, you will never get to where you want to be. Don't ever give up :flowerforyou:

Looking through your diary, it is pretty inconsistent. You need to stay in a consistent deficit to see some weight come off.
