The squat rack.13

If you want something in addition to free weights, I like the leg curl machine.0

I was using all the leg machines for quite a while and really didn't see my legs change that much. In May I started SL5x5..Hornsby & Sued0nim are right...the squats, DL, for me, have changed my legs considerably. I got some strong legs now and I can see muscle definition. I started doing Sumo DL's, they are cool0

Another vote for squats. I also work in lots of lunges, front and rear.1

If you're specifying machine, then probably the leg press, especially if you do it one-legged.1

Squat rack for quads, glute bridges for glutes, good mornings for hamstrings. All done with a barbell1

Barbell/dumbbell/hex bar Hack squats if by legs you mean quadriceps
Do hack squats using a bench press station to piss off the bros for bonus points3 -
depends what the word 'gains' means to you too. strength, muscle bulk, other . . . personally i think squats and deadlifts work my legs harder than anything else, but i don't go for a lot of diversity in my lifts so maybe there are other things.
dimel deadlifts are a thing and a half for the upper hamstrings, i can certainly tell you that much.1 -

Squat rack
Oh you mean bicep curls?
The leg press machine would be my top pic. It eliminates non-leg muscles like abs & back, enabling you to push your legs farther.0 -
squat variations, lunges, dead lift variations, split squats, leg press, etc...0

Squats, squats, squats, squats, squats.
(Sing to the tune of "Shots").2 -

Had a girl last week doing landmines squats in the squat rack (there's a dedicated landmine in the corner) and pushups using a weighted ball. I was like really??0 -
For overall leg work, you can't beat squats or heavy walking lunges.
However for hypertrophy I think leg extensions and curls are the best exercises.0
