Just wondering the longest that others have experienced a plateau? I know that everyone is different, however I have been serious about my weight loss plan since June 2016 and have only lost 30lbs. When I say serious, I mean counting everything that I eat and working out 5 times a week. I started at 250 and am down to about 224 but I'm seriously frustrated that I can't lose anymore. People are noticing my body change but I'm seriously getting stressed out because I feel like I'm trying so hard to no avail. For the last month or month and half it seems as if I keep fluctuating between 228 and 223. Frustrated. Any help or advice is appreciated. Ok. Rant over lol

After losing weight steadily for 4-5 months, I plateaued for 3 months. I realized that I had not updated my calorie target to account for my weight loss, which had reduced how much I was burning daily, in addition to eating a bit more. After recalculating my calorie target and redoubling my efforts to reliably meet it and exercise more regularly, I started losing again.4

OP, have you recalculated your daily calorie goal to account for your weight loss ?3

no. you need to redo it in mfp manually . I redo it every ten pounds. and I had one plateau lasting two weeks. that was 27 pounds ago. Stick with it, trust CICO, and recalc your NEAT or TDEE or whatever your using1 -

No, as jdog022 pointed out you have to manually do it. It's not automatic. From the app click more, goals, weekly goals, select however many pounds you want to lose a week, an are you sure message should pop up, click yes, and you should see your new daily calorie allowance.
If you lost close to 30lbs already it should be a significant difference. For me, losing ten pounds lowered my daily calories by almost one hundred calories.
Also, if you aren't already using a food scale it wouldn't be a bad investment.1 -
