Abs cramping

Hi everyone.

Two weeks ago I changed up my ab routine and I started to get cramps in my abs half way threw the workout.

My question is this.

What's the best thing to do when a cramp is coming on? For example when you get a calf cramp you can walk it off.

What can be done for preventive measures?

Thanks

If you changed your routine perhaps you added an exercise that you might not have proper form for? To me it sounds like you should just stop doing what you're doing. There are plenty of other ways to strengthen your core.

I have no idea. I haven't done a crunch in like 2 years.

I'm doing crunches. After 50 reps the cramps start. I'm certain the form is fine.

Do something else. What is the point of the crunches? I mean...what is your goal there?

Ab training is, for the most part, a waste of time.
