Its day 25 for me today I've lost 9 pounds so far starting weight 207 current weight 198 the last two days I have no interest in really eating. I have a 1240 calorie deficit for the day and I always end up under my calorie because I exercise everyday I just don't have any cravings I eat just to eat. I think that 21-day habit thing it's true.

For starters..... Congratulations on getting below 200! I'm sure that made you feel good.
I don't find food boring, I just need new ideas on what to make. I'm so sick of the same ol' same ol'. Then to top it off this is such a hard time of year to be good for me.0 -
Never get bored with my food. I enjoy cooking a wide range of meals. I like to explore recipes and frequently adapt them to fit my needs. As for the 21 days to create a habit, I believe it is a minimum of 21 days and can take months of regularly implementing the changes you wish to see. I recall a study on it, but don't recall where.0

I'd only get bored with eating if the only things I ate tasted either bad or meh.0

The "it takes 21 days to form a habit" thing is a myth. And habits means nothing if you don't have attitudes to go with them. Eating too little and going from loving to detesting food is just going to backfire. Be careful now. Undereating always ends up with overeating or eating disorders. Boring food was the main reason I couldn't maintain my weight, and I attibute being able to keep my weight normal and steady for over two years, to eating whatver I want in reasonable portions.1

Maybe if you think of food a fuel for your exercise and body it will change your perspective on it?1

Nop. More than 100 pounds down and I still find food as exciting as ever. I have butterflies of anticipation in my tummy today because we're making something that I really love but haven't had in a while. We will also be opening a pack of raspberry chocolate on Christmas Eve, and I'm so excited about it that I dreamed about it a few days ago. I would really hate it if dieting robbed me of the joy I experience around food. Thankfully this hasn't happened, and I hope it never will.4
