today is day 27 on my weight-loss Journey starting weight 207 current weight 198 I've worked out everyday I do 1 hour of cardio burn in between 300 and 400 calories and I do 30 minutes of the weight training on the machines I usually do arm day and leg days. I was told by someone on here that I need to strictly focus on cardio because my body won't build muscle while it's losing fat is this true? I'm using voice text so bear with me on the punctuation. TIA

That's not what you were told, if you're referring to your other thread (one of them).
Building muscle is very difficult, almost impossible, while eating at a deficit. HOWEVER, weight training is very important to maintain the muscle that you already have. If you lose that muscle while losing fat, you have all the further to go to build it back up.5 -
What you are doing seems perfect. The person who says that you cant lose fat and build muscle at the same time is totally clueless. Doing cardio and weights is the most ideal way to do it. Keep it up, you are totally on track!!6

What kind of weight do you want to lose--mainly fat, or both fat and muscle? Your body won't build new muscle in a deficit (so they say), but it will LOSE muscle if you're not training it. If you're concerned about losing any kind of "weight" rather than primarily fat, then you wouldn't need to be concerned about retaining muscle. But there are a lot of health issues that result from losing muscle mass. So I would say, keep both cardio and weight training.2

I think you've been told this already, but resistance training is important when losing weight in order to preserve lean mass...if you want that "fitness" look when you're done, it's pretty important. It's also pretty important as a matter of general fitness.
Also, I think you're completely misinterpreting what you were told in that other thread...I didn't see anyone suggest just cardio because you can't build muscle. You were told that you weren't really going to build muscle mass in a deficit which is kinda true and kinda not true...a lot would depend on your programming (which just doing arms and legs isn't really optimal) as well as your nutrition and how steep your deficit is...how new you are as well as how much you have to lose.3 -

Except that's not what she said and you were repeatedly told that's not what she said. You're not going to get big muscles but you'll preserve the muscle you have by doing weight training.6
