How do you send a friend request on mfp?

I haven't sent friend requests in a long time and when I tried I didn't see an option to send a friend request

    MFP now requires stamps. :/

    Anyway, if you want to add someone from the forums: click user name (you will be taken to a "user card") -> click user name again to go to profile -> you should see a button for the friend request
