Awesome! If you don't mind me asking, what is your current weight?0 -
5'11 currently 185-190 lbs or 85-87 kg, goal between 130-160 or 59-72 kg. I want to see where I feel comfortable.1

I'm 5'8.5". My goal is 145 to 150. I am currently 160.4
-
Also 5' 8.5", currently 161, goal 147 or thereabouts.1

Hi: I'm 5'9". Current weight is 157. Goal weight is 150. All time high weight was 193. I want to be realistic in what I can maintain. I think 150 is a very realistic and doable goal.4

I'm 5'9" and 153lb. I am currently eating at maintenance. I've been down to 140 as an adult and it is too lean for me.1

Current weight 233, starting weight 268 I set my goals in 5 pound increments but ultimately I would like to get under 200 then go from there.3

I'm 5'9"
I started at 165, I fluctuate between 128 and 130 now. Still have a belly. I'm skinny fat though so my new goal is start strength training and gain some muscle and see if I can get rid of my belly that way. If I end up gaining weight in the process I'm ok with that, as long as my body composition improves.3 -
I'm 5'9, starting weight of 208, current weight 193. My goal weight is probably 145; perhaps as low as 140, perhaps as high as 150.2

I am 5'9, and my goal is in the healthy BMI range. So, below 170 but above 125, and feeling healthy and strong. The rest is gravy.3

I'm 5'9". My goal is to get out of the overweight category.
I would say focus on the work to be done & worry about specifics later. I worry some of you tall ladies aiming for as little as 130 may not appreciate the kind of sacrifice & diligence it would take to maintain there. The last time I was 130 was when I was 17 years old, and I'll never be burning the amount of calories I was then. I have a life now3 -
I'd be very close to hospitalisation at 130lb.
There are some lean bean types who it suits, but I think they are very much in the minority. Or teenagers who haven't yet got a fully adult body, even if they are adult height.7 -
5'9.5 and my goal weight is 167. I have a naturally athletic build and am not small boned. However I would predict this to be around a size 8 and quite trim for me. Can't wait!!4

How long did it take for you to get to goal?0 -

Same. I don't think it would be a good look for me either. I personally feel and look best at 145 and am 5'8". However, I do have a large frame.

Im 5'9 and Im 150. I'm down from 182 and have been 145 to 150 for a year. I'm comfy with it.1

I'm 5'8
I've been at my goal weight of 160 for a couple of years
I would advise targeting an initial higher weight, perhaps top end BMI and then reassess when you get near because going from obese to a BMI of 19 is quite a leap3
