Can being sick make your weight go up? How long after being sick will it take for it to go back down ?

Likely depends on what you eat or drink while you're sick, and if you're still working and being active. If you're like me and lay on the couch in misery for days and eat nothing but soup and crackers and tea, it may go up from the sodium and back down a few days later. If you nibble on substantial food and snack stuff all day and are not active, that may mean an actual weight gain and take a week or two to work off.0
