Has anyone tried this?

I've set my calories to maintenance, but I've also set it to not subtract my exercise calories. I workout hard for 45-60 minutes, six days a week, so I figure I should still lose. Has anyone tried this approach?

It depends, if you burn enough; calories exercising but overall, it's a great idea! However I'd keep track of your, exercise calorie burns anyway; so that you don't accidentally under eat!

Not me personally but it would work assuming you create a calorie deficit overall. Don't forget that calorie burns can be gross overestimates.

That would work fine. As long as you're seeing a downward trend in weight, you know that you're on track.

I have heard of some setting maintaince calories at there goal weight as well to lose weight . It's slower but they get there ..

    Good luck

This is what i recently started doing. I set my calories to goal weight/sedentary and create my deficit with exercise. You have to be extra vigilant to make sure your food logging is on point if you're going to do this.
I'm losing .4kgs (.8lbs) a week, with maybe 4-6lbs left to goal weight.

You've set your calories to your basic activity level not maintenance. Maintenance calories are by their very nature inclusive of exercise they are the calories it would take to maintain.

That pedantry aside, yes it will work
