Coffee or Tea

Strong freshly ground Tanzanian peaberry coffee in the morning. Black China tea (Keemun, Yunnan, Russian Caravan etc), with occasional excursions into Earl Grey, Ooolong, green or Pu Erh or flavoured teas (rose, vanilla, jasmine etc) all day. Maybe a decaf ground Columbian coffee if I'm craving a stronger taste. Chamomile and other tisanes in the evening. All black, no sugar, apart from the Earl Grey, whch I drink with a slice of lemon and half a spoon of sugar. Espresso after a meal out, but not normally at home.
Then I'll often have a milky drink, sometimes hot milk with a teaspoon of instant coffee (no sugar, maybe decaf if it is late), or Ovaltine, Horlicks or hot chocolate.
In summer, I'll do the iced tea thing with Earl Grey and lemon.
I used to do Mate too, but haven't had it for years.0 -
I personally am obsessed with both!
I only drink coffee once a day and it has to be by 11 am or I'm up all night, but I am able to drink tea all day without a problem. I pretty much own every tea flavor both caffeinated and herbal and I drink about 4 cups a day of varying types like I said I'm obsessed!0 -
Tea gang until i die1

I drink both but I'm a Tea person. Coffee is more like something I'll have just for a change. I get tea cravings!!!1

I used to love coffee, but my body decided a few months ago that it hates it, despite what my tastebuds say!
Oh no! I would tell my body to shut up and pour myself another cup!2 -

I was a coffee drinker until six years ago when my stomach refused to keep it down. I switched to black tea to offset the caffeine withdrawal but still had some stomach issues. So now I drink green tea in the mornings and herbal teas the rest of the day and my stomach is happy again!1

Have you tried cold brew? It's supposed to be way less acidic.
Tea drinker here.2 -
I like iced tea with meals and hot coffee first thing in the morning. I just like caffeine.2

Black coffee no sugar. I buy Brazilian beans. Delicious. I usually have at least 3 cups before I do anything in the morning. Then another 3 or 4 cups by noon. Sometimes I'll make a second pot. Yeah, I love my coffee.2

Coffee all the way! Although I will make some green tea on rare occasions when it sounds good1

Herbal tea usually, but when I need the caffeine I prefer a mocha or some other sweet coffee.0

just saying 'coffee' gives me a little moment of joy. my parents were one of those mixed coffee/tea marriages. i was a little confused for a while, but i've done the therapy time and i know what's right now.0 -

No I haven't tried that. I broke the caffeine addiction so I have no desire to go back to coffee.0 -
I have gone through phases of loving coffee and then loathing it.
I just came out of a phase of loathing it and decided to drink it again and.. it left me ravenous after drinking it.
I had been drinking brewing chocolate in the morning for something with a bit of a bitter kick when I wasn't ready to go back to coffee again, and I'm going back to that. Tea doesn't have enough flavor for me any more, or I need to brew it a lot stronger or something.
I do like herbal teas.0
