Calories and weight lifting

I'm new to all this so I'll have plenty of stupid questions along the way
Stupid question but, if I'm technically supposed to take in like 1700 calories a day and I'm left over with 600 then go lift , how will that effect me?
I eat a lot as much as I can without making myself feel miserable but 1700 I can get almost 1300 in
What are some foods you guys eat to get that calorie intake in

I'm not sure where you get gaining weight when you're in a deficit that steep. You're netting less than 1100, and I'm guessing that's without exercises. I do not know your stats, so the following is general advice.
It's time to start looking for more calorie dense options. Or get a food scale and ensure that you truly are eating that little. Many people think they're eating less than what they actually are, and only a food scale will tell.
To answer your question, if you truly are eating that little, not only will your lifts suffer, but you risk other issues in the long term. Lethargy, brittle nails, brittle hair, etc.0 -
