I'm getting ready to buy some weights for my home gym and was wondering, if I want to build muscle mass should I buy lbs or kg?

I love this.
If you weigh your food in lbs, go with that or it could become confusing. :drinker:0 -
A pound of fat is the same as a kg of muscle0

I think the biggest question to be asked is - are your weights pink?0

Depends on your goal

No no no, you got it wrong. Lean muscle comes from lean proteins like turkey and fish. Bulky muscles are from thick proteins like protein shakes.

but NOT from abdominally focused proteins...those will actually help keep your bulk down to a feminine level but will increase definition only in your abs.0 -

Okay, that makes sense. I just bought protein shakes thinking they would help. I'm going to have to try to return them and just buy turkey.0 -

What types of proteins should I buy? I have huge thighs already and don't want to look like Branch Warren.
Will kg help me spot reduce my huge thighs?0 -
I would definitely go with Lebron over Kevin Garnett at this point.0

That makes sense. I'll just eat chicken from now on for every meal.0
