Bad gas and bloating at night....

Do you drink soda? Or any other carbonated beverages throughout the day?
Might look at a good probiotic?

Tell us a typical day's menu for you? Is the gas/bloating worse weekends, weekdays, after a particular food or drink, after a day where you have eaten something you don't usually eat...etc etc
What do you consider healthy and unhealthy foods? What do you consider too much?0 -
Activia yogurt has always helped me. Probiotics are great too, and a lot stronger than yogurt.0

Probably. If you're not eating healthy, you're likely eating things that irritate your stomach.
It's hard to give specific advice without specific information, such as your diary. But for me, I started cutting out dairy and that helped a ton. Drank less coffee and more tea. Sometimes I still get gassy at night if I eat too many beans or starchy vegetables but I usually take that as a good sign that the ol digestive system is working.
However, those things might not at all be relevant for you, we just can't help without more information.0 -
I've been eating healthy since September. My gas and bloating have all but disappeared. Over this week, with all the rich foods and sweets (of which I've been pretty good with), it's back in full force!!!1

Somewhere I read that most people pass gas at least 17 times per day. I feel better socially, physically when I can get it out - outside is best or alone inside if I can. Yogurt, sauerkraut, pickles, kimchi, coffee, tea help make digestion and gas production predictable; yoga, squats, ironing, vacuuming and other activities help relieve it. Walking after dinner or at least doing some light calisthenics for 20-30 minutes an hour before bed really help. When I don't do that especially after a big meal I have the same problem as you.2

The only time I ever had really bad gas was when I was eating lots of sugar free sweets -- particularly sugar free ice cream.0

I've noticed if you're eating a lot of broccoli, cabbage, brussel sprouts, beans that the there can be a lot of gas. My physician gave me the advice to cook them with onions and to cook them for a long period of time, like in the crock-pot. Hope this is helpful.0

I get gassy when I eat a lot of raw foods (veggies and fruits) and especially with broccoli. Keep some bean-o or gas meds on hand.0
