So aggravating!

I log everything I eat in my diary and log my exercise too but I haven't lost anything! I've been on here for a while now and keep yo-yoing from my original weight down 2-3 lbs and then back up again. My scale wants me to eat more whenever I see that I've gained back no matter how careful I'm trying to be. I don't weigh myself often either. Maybe once a week. Yet everytime I log on here I see how others are so successful and love MFP. Then I also have friends who are selling Advocare and want to shove it down my throat. I keep telling them no because I've always heard that good ol' diet and exercise are the best ways to lose weight. But apparently not for me. I guess I'm destined to be fat. I want to scream!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I'm not sure why the thing here says I've lost two pounds because I actually haven't.

Usually for breakfast I'll have some Cherrios and some almond milk. Lunch is usually a Lean Cuisine or Smart Ones because my hectic life won't allow for me to have the time to make my lunch. Dinner is usually fish or chicken with steamed veggies. During the day I snack mostly on fresh fruit, string cheese, or yogurt.0

Are you new to exercise? Your muscles might be retaining water.
Are you weighing at the same time wearing the same clothes on the same surface? Scales can be finicky, and if you weigh at different times you can easily see a fluctuation of up to or more than 5 lbs.
Are you accurately measuring? If not, buy a good digital scale. It is so easy to underestimate how much we're eating.
Are you bloated from eating too much sodium? If so, drink so much water you're about to float away.
If you're a female, keep in mind that your monthly friend can easily wipe out any gains for a few days. Don't worry, it'll stabilize once it's over.
Are you eating too little? If you're eating too little and exercising too much, your body might be retaining everything it can due to the sudden change.

You'll get better advice if people can see your food diary.0

During the last few weeks I've been having a working lunch at my desk and then go out walking for about 40 minutes for about 2.4 mile at a local park. Lately that is all I've had time for. Since my daughter is starting to go to bed at about 8pm more often now, I'm going to start the 30 Shred excerise program next week with some friends. I hope I do see results after five days like I've read.0

I'm not completely new to exercising. I used to go to a Boot Camp class a couple of times a week before I got pregnant. Now that my DD is in bed by 8pm more often, I'm going to give the 30 Day Shred exercise program a try in the evenings at home.
Usually when I weigh myself it is first thing in the morning before I get dressed and eat breakfast.
Aunt Flo did visit last week and I did get a little crazy with the chocolate. I have a difficult time staying away from it during those times.0 -
Sounds to me that if your want to drop more weight, or drop weight quicker, your exercise routine is where to make improvements. Diet alone, or diet with only minimal exercise is a poor route to take for weight loss.0
