Calorie and carb cycling

Hi everyone

So I've heard success stories from people who carb cycle and those who calorie cycle. Does anyone know which is the most effective method to get past a plateau? Should I stick to the same amount of callries but vary the amount of carbs or fluctuate how many calories I am eating a day? I saw one lady write about how some days she eats as little as 1200 and other days close to 2000. Similarly a carb cycler who some days are 70-80g and others up to 200g but kept roughly within he same calorie bracket.
