Fitbit double counting

My Fitbit counts the time on my wrist that I exercise, but then it is double counted when I put it into MyFitnessPal? How can I fix that without taking the Fitbit off? Or do I not log exercise anymore ?

Mine adjusts if you put in the time. So if I say walked for 60 minutes and put in the time I walked, the steps caories disappears.

It will not double count the Calories earned, provided that the time zones for Fitbit and MFP match, and you enter the correct start time for the logged activity.0

I never enter my exercise here. Just sync the two and let them sort it out. If I do a non-stop based activity, such as swimming, I log it on FitBit.0
