IS 2017 MY YEAR?

I am really going to try to do good in the new year. I say that every year but as the years seem to be going fasting and I am 62, I think I need to get my butt going. I got a Fitbit Charge 2 for Christmas so hopefully that will motivate me some but it sure would be nice to have some friends that push me and keep me going so I can lose this weight. Right now I have a mini-goal of reaching 200 pounds. That is 24 pounds and hope I can do it. If anyone would like to be my friend please do.

2017 can and will be your year if you make it your year. Some of the things I have learned and continue to work on. Spend as much time (and more) on thinking about your system and routines that will help you reach the goals you set. For me I have set a target weight goal but that will take time. What I focus more on is when I will be active (early morning), what and when I will eat, how much sleep I aim to get a night (7 or more which means to bed between 9:00-10:00).
I will not reach my goal weight in a week or month but I can get daily wins with being active (when I have scheduled it), reaching my eating goals for the day and checking off the next morning the 7 hours of sleep. These are daily wins that keep me motivated. With them working together consistently and on a daily basis, I will reach my goals in time.
Keep your focus on the process and the journey and eventually you will achieve the goals you have set!0
