So I am not the type of person who immediately eats something when waking up. In fact, I do not like breakfast, but I know I need to eat something. Usually I just drink tea or coffee. Any delicious food out there that will keep my satisfied until my snack?

You don't have to eat breakfast if you don't want to. Most days I don't eat until 10-10:30 and wake up before 5.

If you don't like breakfast, you don't have to eat breakfast. I eat breakfast, but not until around 8/8:30 AM...I'm up at 5:30 usually.

Why do you think you "need" to eat something soon after waking?

I genarally don't eat until around noon. I find eating breakfast makes me feel hungrier the whole rest of the day. I'd rather save my calories for dinner and an evening snack.

I eat breakfast around three hours after waking, but I'm never hungry for it. However, I find if I don't eat breakfast by lunch I am very hungry and by dinner I am starving and it seems like I can't get full.

When I don't want the usual things (bagel, toast, cereal, eggs, fruit, etc.) I'll tempt myself with a cinnamon roll or a danish. I love sweets so it works. If not that, I'll have bacon with something to tempt myself because who doesn't love bacon?

I wait until I get to work but usually consists of 1 slice wheat bread, 1 egg, 1/2 piece of American cheese, and 1 turkey sausage patty. Or a similar breakfast burrito. Sometimes it's just a hard boiled egg. I pre-make my meals so they're ready to throw in a bag before work.

You don't need to eat breakfast if you don't want to. I eat breakfast on workdays, but not always on the weekends. I like boiled eggs for keeping me full until lunch. But you don't have to eat until you are ready to.

You don't need to eat when you wake up if you aren't hungry. Why not make your "snack" your breakfast? Although you do say something that will "keep you full until your snack" so does that mean you do get hungry soon after waking? I premake breakfast sandwiches and freeze them: I scramble enough eggs for the number of sandwiches I'm making, sautee peppers, onions, spinach, garlic (whatever veggies) and mix with the raw eggs, bake on a sheet pan at ~350 until set. Take one bagel thin or english muffin (wrap, flatbread, pita, w/e), one square of egg, one slice cheddar and one turkey sausage patty (Walmart has a bag of great thin ones for only 6 dollars!.) Put that all together wrapped in freezer paper and tin foil, remove foil and microwave whenever I feel like I want it. I love them so I don't mind eating them every day but you could definitely experiment with different flavors, textures etc.

No you don't. Meal timing/frequency is a preference thing and varies between individuals. What matters is that you're hitting your calorie targets at the end of the day/week :)

I'm always hungry when I wake up, but that's me. I usually don't eat for about an hour or so after waking up and getting to work, though. If for some reason I'm not hungry, though, I don't eat. I've never understood the whole "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" concept. Why, and says who?
