Ok...I am losing, but need to tone. The booty I had is melting away. I want to do 100 squats a day...not all at once, maybe like 10 squats 10 times a day. Maybe if I had some friends doing it too we can achieve the booty back, or tighten and tone. Let me know :)

    Hey!

Bodyweight squats may get you started but I would add in other moves such as glute bridges and lunges if you're going to use bodyweight.

Squats turn out to be a quad dominant exercise if the glutes aren't activated properly. Don't forget to squeeze on the way up!

Doing squats while brushing your teeth is easy. You can do 20-50 each time. Makes it easy to get to 100 or more in a day.

I do calf raises :D I have an electric toothbrush that buzzes every thirty seconds to boss you around about how to brush so I do straight, toes out, toes in, and straight again for thirty seconds each. I should change it up and do squats sometimes!

I am not understanding the benefits of 100 squats a day. You can't spot reduce or "spot tone," if you will, so why not just incorporate a reasonable amount of squats in with a weight lifting routine a few days a week.

For example, on M,W,F, I do five sets of squats, five reps each set, about 115 to 125 pounds at the squat machine. In other words, heavier weights, less reps. I do the same with arms (underhanded rows and dumb bell butterflys), and then finish off deadlifts, one set of 5-7, 115 pounds. I have seen amazing changes in this now 55 year old body. :)

Whatever you choose to do, good luck and have fun. :)

@SLLRunner ... this is good advice BUT not everyone lifts weights, or has access to weights or is interested in weights. This is a starting point or simply an addictive for OP...and for many people. I'd LOVE to complete the workout you described however most days, I just can't.

I did squat challenges using an app on my phone last year; I think I completed two 30 day ones. I eventually got bored, but it was okay.
