For "white" bread I like Dave's Killer Bread White Done Right, although it is NOT fluffy like white bread. To substitute for that I will occasionally buy WhiteWheat.

I LOVE bread with grains and seeds so buy those more often. But occasionally white bread is best (grilled cheese, etc).

Dave's Killer Bread makes several varieties with grains and seeds, including thin sliced varieties which are 60 to 70 calories per slice. I love the "Powerseed", as well as the "Good Seed" and "21 Whole Grains and Seeds".

Yep, I buy a loaf of the thin Good Seed every week! Unless I am making something that is better on white. :)

Sara Lee 45 calorie multigrain bread is really good. One of the best breads. It's all I eat if I buy bread.

I like Stop and Shop's Light Multigrain. I know you weren't (necessarily) looking for low Calorie, but I like it anyway.

I like daves killer bread as well, and natures harvest 40 Calorie per slice bread.

My Ralph's does a "three cheese semolina" bread by the bakery that I freakin love. The slices are smaller than a commercial type loaf and the cals are doable. I also like the "Italian" loaf I think it's Orowheat, it has a red, green and white bag see if you can spot it.
