I think it is a great goal and very realistic to achieve. I need to figure out the Ticker as I have never used one.1

I'm signed up for the 1000 mile challenge in 2017 thru facebook, so this challenge will help to remind me to keep moving. The 1000 mile challenge counts every 2000 steps as 1 mile, but I plan to just use my Fitbit calculations as my miles. Glad I found this challenge on MFP! Now I just have to learn how to use the ticker!2

I managed 6.7 today.
In case anyone hasn't done the maths, you'll need to walk an average of 2.74 miles a day. On the days that I can, I want to walk/run more because sometimes my husband goes away for work and then I have to take the kids with me on dog walks. I would log rowing machine miles but the computer thingy on my rowing machine is buggered so I've got no idea how far I'm going.0 -
OK, I've considered this challenge for several days and decided I'm IN! Some of my friends have already joined and I don't want to get left behind all you crazy fit people!
For my own personal tracking, I'm going to use my Vivosmart and use the mileage tracker from that. I average about 3 miles a day, so if I continue that trend I should be able to meet the 1000 goal. I do a lot of water exercise (aquasize and laps), as well as walking so I hope it's OK to include the water miles.
For some reason, all the graphic links are broken on ticker factory so I can't create a ticker right now. I'll try to do that again later.2 -

1000 is a good challenge for me. I only managed 830 hiking miles in 2016 so I need to step it up a bit.
