Hi. I haven't posted in the forums since I lost my first 80 pounds. And in February 2016 I finally met my goal of loosing 100 pounds... BUT... and BUTT.... I've slowly gained back 12 pounds since then. I'm trying to stay motivated, and get back to the routine I had for almost 2 1/2 years, but am finding it hard to want to exercise religiously like I did before, and to really log my meals/snacks/recipes exactly.. instead of doing quick adds, etc. The payoff, in people noticing, feeling good, getting on the scale and getting excited when the weight came off much more quickly, etc., just isn't there anymore.
I just signed up 2 days ago for " Achievemint ", where you get paid to log everything. Has anyone else done this, and did it help? I mean, $10 is $10, and cash is nice motivation since I like money (which if you're interested in it here's the link for you and me to get points ;) . . tinyurl.com/znrn264 . .) ... and if you have tried this, did it seem to change things up enough to motivate you in a different way?
What other motivation / apps / tracking keeps you from the slow but consistent regaining of weight??
Thanks !
LYNDA

maintaining is tough. In my mind, harder than losing cause you reached a goal and now the motivation can leave.

Personally the money wouldn't do it for me and from what I've read achievemint caps the amount you can earn so that would probably dry up real quick and I would need some other motivation.

Only thing that worked for me is to change my focus to fitness goals. Just try to better myself in the gym, try to get more endurance and strength.
I also continue to weigh myself often and allow myself a window of about 5 lbs. When I reach that upper limit I refocus on weight loss again and get pretty strict with my diet.

    good luck. and congrats!
