How much calcium in my diet

So i have been tracking my calories and using the app and i noticed i was getting on average 400-500 mg of calcium a day. Now i am not a heavy dairy eater as i don't like the taste and never did in my life so i see that even eating unprocessed foods i come up short of 1000 mg of calcium that is recommended on most sites, after doing some research. Than i found a Harvard study that says high calcium intake does not prove is good for bones and overall health. Is the level of calcium i am eating good for health?

It is almost impossible to reach the RDA that is recommended without dairy. I mean i even read a couple of studies from trusted sources like harvard which mention the rda being backed up by dairy lobbyists. lol so i would like some peoples thoughts on this and i do not see myself drinking 2 glasses of milk everyday for the rest of my life.

I love dairy, but don't eat enough of it to get my daily calcium needs. You can get calcium from green veggies (and some other veggies too), but I still don't get enough.

So...I take a Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc tablet once a day. When I don't take it, I notice my nails are more brittle. It could be coincidence, but I think it's not.
