Anyone seen The Shape of Water? I'm kind of intrigued, but getting the husband to a movie takes some pre-work.

Maze Runner's death cure. The whole series doesn't make much sense but it's entertaining at least.

Before that it was Jumanji into the jungle and I laughed the whole time. Awesome if you like video games.

I would have not watched it except that it got nominated for best picture. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Some good Cold War/ spy stuff. Tell hubby it’s retro science fiction and a spy/action flick.

The Darkest Hour. I’d give this 3 out of 5. Of the best picture nominees, I put this at the bottom. However, Gary Oldham, as Churchill, makes a convincing case for best actor.

Greatest Showman. Great music, a little thin on the plot.

Well now I know what I can watch all alone on Valentine's day. I'm not usually a chick flick kind of girl, but today I will make an exception

    Hostiles.

    I liked it.

It doesn't glorify violence but includes violence...pays an honest homage to an earlier time, makes you feel happy you aren't the one living those rough years.

I have always like Christian Bale...since Empire Of The Sun.

I have no idea what he is like as a person.

But aside from being good in his roles...the dude has done some impressive work physically speaking to change his body.

He is the Machinist...AND Batman. Not to mention the American Psycho :D (that was weird)

The guy has got eating and lifting down.

    He can change his shape.

he did okay in Henry V too

(2 years after Empire... if memory serves)
