Chipotle or Moe's?

We have a Moe's about 5 minutes away from where I work. There's a Chipotle 15 minutes away though and it has become my preference. Macros are comparable for what I like to order, but the ingredients seem to taste a bit better from Chipotle. How much value do you place on taste when you're meeting your macro goals?

I prefer Moe's, mostly for the excellent salsa bar. When I'm going Moe's, macros be damned. LOL

Moe's!!!!! I absolutely love Moe's and it's a constant debate in my household about which is better. As for taste versus macros, I almost always go with macros. I will sit out on eating a big pasta meal and instead eat grilled chicken and steamed veggies just so I can meet my macros. I'm also known to pass up subs and meatball parms and get a protein bar instead. Takes will power, but consistency is key.

I've never heard of Moe's, but I love Chipotle mostly because it does taste amazing and also meets my macro goals. As for how much value I place on taste, it really depends on how I've been doing lately. If I've been on track, I might choose flavor over macros. If I've been slipping, it's a different story.

For fast food Mexican: Moes all the way!! Can't lose when there is a salsa bar though I do wish they'd ease up on the chips because I love them.

The only Mo's I know is on the Oregon Coast, with amazing clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls. So, I vote Mo's!!!

Taste-wise, I like both. But would choose Moe's over Chipotle because they have ground beef, queso, and free chips.

In that I prioritize eating food that's really delicious (for my taste) as well as nutritious, I would care a lot. But depends on the person, I'm sure.

Never had (or heard of) Moe's so no opinion on the actual options.

Over priced poor excuses for Mexican Food.

Meh, agree to disagree. I don't think Moe's and Chipotle claim to be authentic Mexican. And in all fairness, most Mexican restaurants (where I'm from anyways) are all poor excuses for Mexican food as well.

I don't even think of them as Mexican food. But I love Chipotle!

As for Moe's, we don't have them around me so I can't say.
We do have Qdoba though, and while I like it, I think I prefer Chipotle.
Unless I'm getting something other than a burrito bowl, though. Qdoba has better non-burrito options.

And to incog, taste is always important. Always. Macros or not. Bad tasting macros hurt my gainz.

In my area there's a Taco del Sol. I love it and eat there most weekdays.

Yeah, I think they are southwestern. Purely from a taste point of view, I much prefer Moe's. I don't find them that expensive, but that's just me.

To my knowledge, we don't have a Moe's here...Chipotle is hanging on, but this is New Mexico and they have a lot of stiff competition...plenty of quick and easy taquerias around as well as sit down joints (like every corner).

I've been to Chipotle...thought the barbacoa was decent enough, but I'd rather pop into Little Anita's if I need something quick.

I wish we had spots like that. But in my town in Alabama, it's those two.

I hear ya...my mind was blown when I moved from Nebraska to New Mexico and I'm forever ruined...

The Moes up here closed about five years ago. I went once before and it was alright. Tried Qdoba and didn't like it. I prefer Hot Head though, but usually Chipotle is more convenient because it's in my work's parking lot.

A few years back, I had a thing for Chipotle. I'd get it a couple of times a month. I think I overdosed on it. I haven't had a hankering for ages. I've had Moe's a few times. It's alright, but I've never had that same love for it like Chipotle. And the workers startle my delicate nerves when they yell at me upon entering.

I live in the northeast, but I've been out to the southwest a few times and sadly no chain comes close to that deliciousness.

The tacos in the Chelsea Market in NYC are probably my fav I've ever had though. Actually, now that I think about, I realize it's their heavenly flavor that may have ended my love affair with Chipotle. It couldn't hit the spot anymore. :(

As far as your taste question, I place a huge premium on that. There's so much great tasting food out there. I'd feel like I wasted my calories if I didn't meet my nutritional needs in a way that I find to be a pleasure.

I prefer Chipotle. I feel that they use better ingredients, and I like that they charge you extra for chips. At Moe's, they always give them to me before I can ask for my meal without them, so they end up in the trash, and I end up feeling bad for wasting food.

At Chipotle, I can meet my goals without sacrificing flavor because everything is good there. I can't do that at Moe's because their food just isn't good to me unless I can afford to add a ton of sour cream and queso.

For pure value, I choose Moe's. They are better when taking a family of four out and I can better customize my order there... And the salsa bar!

I'm with the Moe''s crowd. Not so much for macros, but because the salsa bar is better, there are more vegetable options, and Chipotle has never served me a decent sized satisfying meal for the price.
Plus, the Chipotle in my city is right off of one of the busiest intersections in town, and the parking lot is nonexistent.

I'm convinced the location of every Chipotle is similar with limited parking! It's probably the main reason I rarely go.
