how to track calories burned and heart rate

is there anything out there that can help track heart rate and calories burned, that isn't expensive?

Use the MFP calculator and add your exercise that way.
You do not need exact calories burned. You just need a starting point for 4 weeks, after which you can adjust based on weight loss.
No suggestions for heart rate. I don't track mine.1 -
Cheaper generally isnt as accurate... if you are not worried about having older technology, i highly recommend a polar ft7 watch. It has a chest strap as is arguably one of the most accurate methods to track. You can find them on ebay and amazon very reasonable... ive had mine 6 years and it works great0

I have a FitBit Zip. No heart rate, but I find it's more accurate than the MFP calorie burns from exercise. It was $50, I think.2
