Is a meal at 3 am yesterday's log or today?

Of course for New Years I went out to a club then ate a grilled cheese and curly fries at 3 am. Would you log it as yesterday's meal or today's? I know it all averages out but if I log it as today's meal then yesterday's calories wouldn't be as much of a fail haha

    Doesn't matter, as you said.

I count what I eat before bed as yesterday's food.

Doesn't matter either way, do it whichever way you prefer. In my case, any meal I eat before I go to bed is logged in the previous day, no matter what time it is. After I've gone to bed and then woken up, meals after that are logged in the next day. :)

It doesn't matter, you can't un-eat it. I'd log it and start afresh next meal/next day, and try to hit your weekly calorie target.
