Now this isn't a resolution despite the timing, but need to lose weight for general health as well as a way to control reflux and lower blood pressure. Doctors recommended a vegan lifestyle. Not sure I can go totally in just yet but going to at least cut out dairy and a lot of red meat.
So here I go. I hope to get a lot of food ideas because I've been too use to eating what I want and too much of it.
Hope to get involved in the community. Anyone have any good ways to getting into exercise for overweight people? Clearly not doing crossfire out the gate.

I'm a petite woman. I was 210, now 140. I lost a lot of weight by walking and adding more vegetables. Also logging everything on mfp. At first walking was hard but now it's one of my favorite things to do. Sometimes it's really hard to stay within my calorie goal, but I know I eat a lot more when I don't log it. One of my main goals is to log every day.2

I could never go vegan. Reducing red meat and dairy seem like a great start. Good luck!1
