Negative calories from breastfeeding

How do I get the negative calories from ebf to show up in the calorie tracker at the top?

I apparently need to eat 1300 a day, -500 for ebf. I'm trying to eat around1800 so it includes the -500 but it means I'm always in negative numbers and obviously I don't want to be! I need to eat a healthy amount to maintain my supply, which is apparently around 1800 calories.

Log it as a food. Search for breastfeeding, there's different negative calorie counts depending on the age of the child. -500 is the one you want if the baby is only eating from you.

That's the one I have, but it doesn't re-add them at the top. For example, if I eat 400 calories then I have that taken off and it says I only have 900 left. I want the breastfeeding calories to be added so that I have 1400 left (minus the 400 calories I've eaten).

If you choose the one that says "-500" it adds the 500 to your daily total.

At least the ones I used did.

I went and looked since it's been a while, there are some that add calories consumed and there are some that deduct. When choosing, use the ones that have a negative.

That's the one I've used, unless there's more than one -500 option. I will look now, thanks for your comments!

I've gone through and separately added each -500 option, none re-add the calories at the top.

It doesn't really matter, as I know to take them into account, it's just disheartening to see the little red numbers saying I've gone well over my calorie goal.

When I was BFing I just manually put in my calorie goal. So if yours is 1300 you can go in and make it 1800.

That's weird, it worked for me :(. Maybe try restarting the app/device/computer you're on? When I chose the option that says breastfeeding, generic 25 oz, -500 I can watch the calories from food at the top of my screen reduce. I hope you can figure out out, I hate seeing red numbers as well

I didn't realise I could change the calorie amount, so thank you, I've done that now.

Previously I had logged breastfeeding under activity, that worked for me without changing the calorie amount?
